The National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Distributed Control Technology was approved and established by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2015. With the development purpose of "based in Anhui, radiating across the country, actively integrating the disciplinary advantages of regional distributed control technology, and vigorously strengthening the horizontal connection with industrial innovation platforms in the industry", the center closely follows the national development strategy aiming at the major needs of industrial enterprises such as the prominent contradiction between development and security, actively committed to the application research of industrial intelligent perception and distributed real-time control, industrial embedded system and control software development and other technical directions, formed distinctive distinctive advantages in railway signal safety integrity technology, anti detonation design technology, and provided common technology research and development, technology integration, talent training, achievement transformation, product testing and verification with strong platform support for industrial upgrading and standard formulation.

The national postdoctoral research workstation of gocom was established in 2010 by the ministry of human resources and social security and the national postdoctoral management committee.
